ABOUT OUR SITE
This site will illustrate how Night Editor Productions can help get the film you are looking for, in terms of pre-production, production and post production. I've also included samples of some of the films I've made myself. All were directed by me and the original scores were written and performed by me.
SERVICES
What We Do
Night Editor productions was created by Alasdair Ferguson to showcase the films and music he has been working on for the past two years. As well as acting in more than 20 low-budget and student films he has written and directed seven movies, including the award winning Ghosts of Burgundy Grove. He has also composed and performed the score for his own films and for other student movies. Alasdair can provide directing services, as well as editing and colour grading your film. He can also provide an original score, The short films near the bottom of the site were directed by Alasdair and feature original music he wrote and recorded for the film. And at the foot of the site are a few behind the scenes shots from the various movies he has done both behind and in front of the camera.
POST-PRODUCTION
Fully trained in Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve and with my own studio at home I can edit your film as well as compose a score for it.
PRE-PRODUCTION
Whether it's help working on your script, assembling a great crew or even getting together a full cast of good, reliable actors, I can help you get through some of the more challenging aspects of pre production.

I'm pictured above on the set of a music video with actress Chelsea Grace and below relaxing between takes on the Gerard Prenter film, The Wanderer. I've done about 20 films as an actor and have built up a huge contact list of actors, as well as DoPs, directors, producers and other great film-makers. I'm happy to put prospective film-makers in touch with these reliable people.
